Greetings and welcome to DIET Kannur. District Institute of Education and Training, Kannur came into existence under the centrally sponsored scheme of Ministry of Human Resources and Development in 1986. This institution, conceived as District Resource Unit for school education in the district functions under Department of General Education, Government of Kerala. DIET Kannur aims to strengthen elementary education and support the decentralization of education at the district level.
